walk-ins
We accommodate walk-ins whenever possible but we recommend booking an appointment to guarantee a specific day and time that works best for you.
Cancellation Policy
Should you, for any reason, cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or you miss your appointment, we want to specify the following policy:
- The 1st instance will not result in any charges. (This includes a no-show and showing up too late for your stylist to perform the services booked.)
- On the 2nd occurrence, there will be a 50% charge for the originally booked service or services.
- For the 3rd occurrence, and for any subsequent instances, there will be a 100% charge for the service or services originally booked.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without a full 24 hours’ notice we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and guests on our waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services.
Late Arrivals
If you are running more than ten minutes late for your appointment please call prior to your arrival to confirm that we can still accommodate you. We will do our best to do so, but in the event that we cannot, we will work with you to reschedule at your convenience so that your appointment will not be rushed and the next guest will not be delayed. We hope you understand.

cell phone use
To make every experience here a tranquil one, we ask that cell phone use be kept to a minimum. We also ask that all ringers be left on vibrate to ensure a relaxing experience for all of our guests.
children
Children are always welcome in our salon. However, all children must be accompanied by an adult to ensure a peaceful environment and to keep children safe from any hot tools or potentially irritating product.

If you are not happy with your service, neither are we. Therefore: Services will gladly be redone within 10 days of your initial visit. We do not refund services.
product return policy
Unopened products are returnable within 2 weeks from purchase date.
Service Booking Policy
Keratin Treatments, Relaxers and Color Corrections require a credit card number prior to booking, as they are services which require an extensive amount of time. These appointments require a 48 business hour cancellation or a charge of 50% of the service will be billed.
Personal Information is used to better serve you and is for salon use only. We do not share any personal information with outside parties.
Shear Genius Salon maintains the right to deny service to anyone who disrespects policies, facilities, employees or clients.
Shear Genius cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.

Payment Options
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, Personal Checks and Cash. Gratuities are not accepted on Credit Card.
