The Deva Cutting technique is a revolutionary method for cutting curly hair. Since everyone’s curl is different, and curly hair has a spring factor that can be misinterpreted while wet, we cut the hair dry in its natural form, curl by curl. This unique innovation allows the stylist to sculpt each client’s hair according to their individual look and style. We then teach the client how to care for their curls at home, giving them the ability to create the same perfect curls as the day they leave the salon.
Balayage is a French coloring technique, done free hand. It’s designed to create very natural-looking highlights that grow out without developing a noticeable and obvious root.
Ombre is a coloring effect in which the bottom portion of your hair looks lighter than the top portion.
A relaxer or re-texturizer, ideal for smoothing course hair, taming unruly curls and waves, and controlling frizzy hair. This relaxer is a permanent treatment that chemically alters the pattern of naturally curly hair, softening and smoothing for more manageability.
The Copolla Keratin Treatment, was created especially for frizzy, curly texture and is meant to be done over another chemical service such as color, highlights or a relaxer. It is a revitalizing and rejuvenating treatment that seals keratin into the cuticle to lock out frizz-causing humidity and reduces curl. One treatment gives long-lasting results for 3-5 months and will reduce your blow dry time by 50%. Since this treatment is semi-permanent, this treatment requires a 72-hour waiting period post-treatment. The Express Keratin Blowout, is a unique hour and 15 minute service that gives the hair a softer, smoother and silkier texture. It is similar to the Keratin treatment in all that it does, however it is a quicker in salon visit, your hair can be washed after just eight hours, and it lasts up to six weeks.
American Wave offers the permanent creation of wave and curl, volume and fullness; we can make hair more or less wavy or curly; we can use it to control frizz, add texture, movement or volume. It’s long-lasting, with loose waves only needing a redo every three months.
A clarifying treatment is an intense treatment that effectively removes copper, iron, hard water minerals, chlorine and styling product build-up. It helps to equalize the surface properties of the hair and fruit acids help strengthen the cuticle and add shine.
